July 4th Where to Watch Fireworks in Costa Mesa

Colin Delaney July 2, 2012

Happy July 4th Everyone!

I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July celebrating and enjoying the time with friends and family. Most of all, be safe with all of those fireworks out there!

Need fireworks? Here’s an awesome Google map to find where to buy them in Costa Mesa, or visit our page of where to buy them.

Here’s a quick look at the best spots to watch fireworks from in Costa Mesa, or where to see the best Costa Mesa fireworks show:

Mesa Verde Area:

Try the top of Estancia Park near the Adobe. There is a huge grassy area there, restrooms, and a drinking fountain, and the top of the park is flat and gives an amazing vantage point to watch a free show that is put on by the Mesa Verde Country Club. It usually starts around 9:30 that night.

Eastside Costa Mesa:

The best bet is anywhere you can get a peak at the Newport Dunes show, information is here:

Newport Dunes Spectacular: The event kicks off with activities including carnival games, crafts, DJs spinning music hula hooping, limbo, and horseshoe tournaments. BBQ and concessions will be available for purchase. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. $30 per car. Newport Dunes Resort, 1131 Back Bay Drive. 949-729-DUNE (3863) or Newport Dunes

Westside Costa Mesa:

Anywhere you can get a vantage point on the bluff, especially at Victoria Vista Park. You can see all the Huntington Beach fireworks from a great vantage point.

Right on Your Street:

Of course, Costa Mesa real estate has its perks, and one of those is that you can still have legal fireworks right on your own street or cul-de-sac 🙂 Let’s be safe and not create a war zone :). Be careful and enjoy the 4th!
