Halecrest Costa Mesa Home

Just sold in Costa Mesa real estate- our listing at 3107 College Ave in the Halecrest neighborhood, this is the highest sale price on a 4 bedroom home in this area this year. Our sellers were excited to get such a good offer, and for everything to go so smoothly with this transaction.

 

Many of the homes in this neighborhood have lingered on the market for quite a few months, and some for much longer than a few months. Pricing of a home is so important now, and you just have to be realistic with the initial list price. It was interesting with our experience on this home on College – we tried to expand the selling price window just a little bit because this house had a significant amount of square footage, but ultimately we were held back because a smaller house next door sold for nearly $80,000 less than our listing price. Good news is that you can easily adjust a selling price downward, and we made a slight pricing adjustment and instantly our showings went up, and within a week we received our winning bid/offer.

I am so fond of this neighborhood, if you have not seen our page for Halecrest, check it out, it really is a wonderful neighborhood. The people are warm, friendly, and this neighborhood has wonderful access to local stores, shopping and Costa Mesa conveniences. These homes are really well built too, if you are looking for a solid home as a nice place to live. Some of the floor plans are what I would call cozy, but they really are a comfortable size, especially if you are a smaller family.
