Costa Mesa Real Estate Community Feature Pentridge Cove

We continue our theme here at CostaMesaRealEstate.com this week with focus on different micro communities in Costa Mesa this week with a look at one of the South Coast Metro areas best condominium complexes, Pentridge Cove.
 

Location

Pentridge Cove is just off of Baker Street in Costa Mesa. It is not far from the intersection of Baker St/Bristol Ave, and not far from Bear Street as well. It is located just south of the 405 freeway.
 

I and II

No, it’s not a reference to the Bob Marley song I and I :), Pentridge Cove is broken into two groups, Pentridge Cove I and Pentridge Cove II. The first group of condominiums, Pentridge Cove I, is the group that is located closer to Baker Street and currently has a green colored siding.
 
Pentridge Cove II is located to the rear of the complex and currently has the blue colored siding.

Bays

All of the streets in each of the complexes are named after Bays. Pentridge Cove I have the street names of Langs Bay, Croyden Bay, Grayling Bay, and Elmira Bay.
 
Pentridge Cove II have the street names of Wingate Bay, Loysburg Bay, and Schenley Bay.
 

Unique Features

There are a lot of great features in the Pentridge Cove condos that are unique in Costa Mesa real estate. The most interesting feature are all of the waterfalls and streams that wind through center of each complex. There are large boulders, native field grasses, and even koi that can be found in the river systems. It makes the most wonderful bubbling sound if you are out sitting on your balcony. Most of the condos here have large decks or patios as well. There are lots of tall pine trees that also create a lot of shady area for the residents here. Each group of condos also have pools and spas for their residents to enjoy.
 

Garages

It might seem trivial to you, but each of the units in Pentridge Cove have a two car garage. Even the one bedroom units!! If you look in other areas of Orange County it can be very, very hard to find a condo with a two car garage.
 

Floor Plans

The floor plans are really unique, multi-tiered living plans that divide living space in really great ways. The one bedrooms have taller steps that separate the living room from the kitchen, dining and bedrooms. The two bedrooms also break up space in the same way. If you have a penthouse unit (and there are lots of them in the complex), then you can really enjoy the cathedral vaulted ceilings in the units. It makes such a huge difference to have the vaulted ceilings because they make the unit feel so much more spacious and also have high windows to let in additional light.
 

Convenience

It should never be understated how easy it is to live here, so close to major freeways and all of the world class entertainment that South Coast Plaza and the Performing Arts Centers have to offer. Costa Mesa real estate is always convenient, but here you can even walk locally to The Lab and the SoBeCa district of shops and eateries.
