Community Feature The Halecrest Neighborhood

What can I say about Halecrest? This is still one of my absolute favorite communities of all the Costa Mesa real estate areas, and yes, it has to do with the fact that this is one of the first Costa Mesa real estate neighborhoods that I started working in!!

 

Halecrest Neighborhood. I think my liking it has to do with the people that you find there: Many long time residents and many people who passionately love this old-time neighborhood. It still has the quaint, old style cottage and ranch style homes, and has also given way to redeveloped and expanded homes due to the nature of the large lots that you find in this part of Costa Mesa real estate.

 

Check out our full page that focuses on Halecrest and Hall of Fame, which is the bordering neighborhood that abuts to Gisler Park (does anyone know about that little slice of a park??? That’s a great little park)

 

What else is special about Halecrest? The street names are great , with names like Belfast, Fernheath, Donnybrook, Killybrooke, Donegal, Conway and other streets named after towns in the Emerald Isle of Ireland (This opinion from the irishman who writes this blog).

 

If you are really digging into Costa Mesa real estate and trying to find a home with character, original wood floors, cozy rooms, well-built homes, and large backyards at affordable prices, you should definitely be looking into the Halecrest neighborhood.

 

Additionally, Halecrest Park is located centrally in this wonderful little neighborhood. This is truly one of Costa Mesa’s hidden gems. This is a private swim and tennis club that is totally affordable. They have a large pool (with lessons for the little ones), BBQ areas, tennis courts, volleyball courts and lots of grass and play areas plus a recreation room.
