Just Sold in South Coast Metro
The home on Redding is located in the Mesa Woods tract just north of the 405 Freeway and adjacent to Wimbledon Village, and is one of those “I never knew this was here” kind of quiet locations in Costa Mesa. Built in the early 70’s this tract has some really lovely floor plans and is right next to Wakeham Park and has walkable access to South Coast Plaza and Metro Pointe.
This home was what’s called a “flip” where someone bought it and totally updated it and resold it. This home was beautifully upgraded with designer quality features throughout. Travertine flooring in kitchen dining and baths. There are dual pane windows, upgraded carpet, nice fireplace, and there are two distinct sitting/family rooms in this great one story model floor plan. This was a “must see” home and there were multiple offers in the first week. The location was really exceptional too – it was three homes away from Wakeham Park, and it is probably less than a quarter mile walk to go over and see the movies at Metro Pointe or shopping at Crystal Court.
The kitchen featured dark wood cabinetry, slab granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, all on top of the travertine flooring. The home’s dual pane windows are amazing for how quiet they make the home, and the new carpet really makes it feel warm. It’s hard to find a home in such great condition in Costa Mesa – even the bathrooms had been highly updated with new vanities and flooring and beautify mirrors.
I helped my client from a distance – she had never seen the home but we corresponded over e-mail and had shown her video and photo tours over e-mail, so she had a very good feeling without being on site.
