Halecrest NeighborhoodWondering what’s been going on in the Halecrest and Hall of Fame neighborhoods with sales recently?
I’ve been busy in this neighborhood recently with the sale that we had at 3107 College Avenue and the recent escrow that we opened on the listing that I have at 3016 Royce Lane. This is a very popular neighborhood right now because the prices are at a reasonable point, and interest rates on loans have come down so much that buying a home is more cost effective then renting right now.

Pretty good activity in both Costa Mesa neighborhoods as you can see for yourself. All activity is from April 1st of this year according to SoCal MLS.
3016 Royce Lane – Qualifies for FHA FinancingLike I said, the predominant force driving a lot of these sales are the low interest rates that most banks are offering. They have been mostly in the low 4% range, and they had even dipped into the high three percent range for a brief time this past month. If you read an old post of mine, you know how much I think interest rates drive activity and what a good time it is to buy with such low rates in Costa Mesa right now. Low interest rates are supposed to continue for some time, so it is certainly a good time to take advantage if you have been thinking of buying or selling here.
