Miraval will consist of 10 single family homes on lots of approximately 7500 square feet, which are considered larger lots by today’s standards of building. The homes will be approximately 3300 square feet big with two story floor plans that have two car garage and built with a Santa Barbara style that features cosmopolitan shingle roofs and stone and stucco siding and veneers.
All of these details about Miraval are from its builder, Pinnacle Residential, who also recently built the 17 unit Westreef project in Westside Costa Mesa overlooking Victoria Street and the bluffs of Huntington Beach. The project is being built on the old church site of the First Church of Christ, Scientist. The church had finally given into developers who longed after the parcel that was made up of nearly 80% parking lot.

New homes have been slowly coming back into vogue in little spurts and little parcels around Costa Mesa. Most of the new building has happened in small one off lots in Eastside Costa Mesa, and on larger lots in Westside Costa Mesa. This is the first development in Mesa Verde of more than 1 unit since the Mesa Verde Collection was built in 2001, which was developed by Standard Pacific Homebuilders and had only 69 homes on smaller patio sized lots.
