Mesa Verde Inner Loop Home Sold

Just sold in Costa Mesa the home at 2900 Pemba Drive. We sold this home for $729,000, right at its last list price. This is a great result for anyone living in the inner loop neighborhood in Mesa Verde. Our sale is one of the highest in quite some time in the neighborhood for a four-bedroom home in this Costa Mesa neighborhood this year.

Vacant, but Staged

One of the key strategies that we used was to do was to use some light staging. This house was vacant as it was a foreclosed property, and those don’t often come with beautiful furnishings. We put utensils, pots, pans, towels, and other kitchen-related materials in the kitchen, so it felt lived in. We put all the normal bathroom odds and ends to make it feel more lived in as well. It’s one thing to go into a stark, vacant home and it is quite another to go in where there is a good vibe and a feeling of warmth. Look at a few in Costa Mesa that are vacant and you can see the difference.

Inner Loop - Just Sold 2900 Pemba Costa Mesa

This house is in a great location, just a couple of homes from Adams Elementary and the park there within the inner loop. Costa Mesa real estate has lots of good locations, and this was certainly one of them. I used to live in this neighborhood, and I loved the ability to be close to the park, and still have great convenient access to all the shopping and stores around Harbor Blvd and Adams Blvd.

What Else is Cookin’?

Unfortunately for Costa Mesa now, not much! Inventory is still way, way too low, as I commented on in a previous post. HUGE advantage to sellers right now, but for those desperate buyers out there, it’s got to give them pause to look at some higher prices when they had just gotten used to the idea of affordable housing returning.
