I represented the original owners family for this home located in the Mesa Verde tract and inside Mesa Verde’s prestigious Inner Loop neighborhood. This Costa Mesa home was a bit of a fixer – it was very close to stock original and was in need of new paint, carpet, a roof repair and general updating. The property sold for $550,000, which was on the lower end of the Inner Loop prices recently. A slightly smaller home was recently sold by another broker in the same neighborhood that also backed to Adams Avenue for $455,000.

The location is great in that the home sits near the end of a cul-de-sac, great if you have kids or desire less drive through street traffic. The one negative here is that the home does back to Adams Ave. as I mentioned, so you do pick up a bit of street noise. The location is great too because it is quite close to the Diego Sepulveda Adobe, Estancia HS, and has easy access to the river trail and Fairview Park. If you haven’t see the beautiful views over the fields of Fairview Park, or taken a ride by the Santa Ana Riverbed channel, it’s a great afternoon well spent.
